Josh Notes is the personal blog of Josh Flowers. I run Paper Moose, a creative agency based in Sydney, Australia, and I build the Moose Tools family of internal software that the agency runs on: a workspace and project portal, a creative review and testing tool, an internal generative AI tool, and a meeting recording app.

This site exists because I wanted somewhere to think in public that is not a social network. There is no feed, no comments, no analytics, and no newsletter. There is an RSS feed if you want to follow along, and every page is also served as plain markdown for AI agents and other tools (see llms.txt).

The site itself is a small experiment in minimalism: a folder of markdown files, a one hundred line build script, one dependency, and a static host. No framework. If you are curious how it works, the Hello post explains the setup.
